Gingy Decorating Party and Giveaway: 3 winners!

Hello friends....I am so happy to share with you our Annual

 Gingy House Decorating Party

Normally we would have had other kids and moms over to partake in the party fun.  However, each year this is one of those parties where I only want my own children at the party...a little selfish, I know...but I get to focus all the attention on them and get right into all of the fun!

I was excited to team up with Amber from Party On Designs. She did an outstanding job on the Gingerbread Party Printables.  I was able to use a ton of their products at our party also!

Without further a due...(grab your hot cocoa and cue the Christmas Music...)

Our Dining room was the scene for the party....there was a decoration station, goodie boxes and fun little surprises at every corner... I love how Amber personalized the set for us!

Don't you just love the colors in this collection?!  Hot Cocoa was enjoyed by us all with some Marshmallow floaters on top....(I used the background paper and preprinted labels that were in the collection.)

The kids LOVED the aprons.  I asked Amber if she could whip up some gingy boys and girls for me to embellish the aprons.
 Worked great!

Time to Decorate!  Oh and decorate they did.  They all spent a good amount of time on their homes. Placing each piece exactly where they thought it needed to go.

The Gingerbread House was the anchor to the Decoration Station (where all the goodies were).  I made this from a recycled board that I used for my son's Nerf Party

We had a few breaks in the day where we regrouped and had a few snacks to keep us on our toes.
The cookies were from a friend of mine, Dawn - she has made cookies for several parties I have styled (Woodland Fairy Party, Pirate Party and more...)

Her Facebook page is a  HERE. Please visit and say hi!

We also found time in the day to read and play some games.

When all was said and done....cookies were eaten....houses were decorated...faces and hands were cleaned....everyone agreed it was a successful day full of Christmas love and cheer!

A few fun, EZ, inexpensive Christmas projects

In between working on a few fun parties..I was able to sneak a little bit of time in for some Christmas Crafting.  It's like therapy to me. I sit in my garage shop and turn on the tunes and craft away!

This was an easy no brainier from the Washi Series that I brought you in November.    I found this Christmas Washi Tape and thought how cute to make them up for Christmas!

Here was another fun project - ALWAYS looking for ways to reuse and recycle!

I used a paper towel roll, scrap wrapping paper and a few embellishments.

Put some markers, pencils and fun craft stuff in there for my daughter.  Fits nicely into her stocking! (other ideas: LEGOS, nail polish, candy)

One thing I dislike is doing dishes during the holidays (or anytime really).  SO I wanted to come up with some creative ways to dress up these paper ice cream cups (using them for dips and nuts) for our Christmas Morning Brunch.  I took the same red cup and dressed it up three ways...

Fun and will add a little pop to the brunch bar!
(cups are from Party On Designs, of course)

Coming up this week - My Annual Gingerbread Decorating Party for myself and my children. Looking forward to sharing this for sure!

Until then - Party On!

What I am crushin on for the holidays....

One thing I love to do, but also hate to do (because I want my ideas to be original and don't want to be influenced by others work) is look around the blog world at other parties  Who doesn't right?

This season it seems that party planners have stepped up their game!  I am seeing parties that have such detail Martha Stewart would be proud!  here are a couple catching my eye:

Seriously the best out there!

Camp Christmas by Lauren Haddox Designs

This party is right up my families alley!  We all love to camp!

I am currently working on 4 parties at once!  Next week we will debut our Annual Gingerbread House Party that I do for my kiddos each year!  This year collaborating with a Secret Vendor to bring you a great party!

Hope your family is blessed!
