NYC Field Trip and Amy Atlas Events

I had a fabulous weekend!

Took a friend of mine into NYC to a book signing for
Amy Atlas Events!  Her new book, Sweet Designs is a labor of love!

It took place at this store over in the Union Square area!  LOVE THIS PLACE!

When we walked into the store, they were still setting up.

Aren't these napkins CLEVER!  Love the motto!

Another fan of Amy's came all the way from Boston to meet Amy and brought this
personalized Macaroon for Amy with her logo.

Signing my book!

Amy's sweet mom was visiting from Florida. Had a nice sit down conversation
with her.

My purchases at Fishs Eddy!  (More to come this week on these)

Zachary, Amy's son, checked me out! LOL

I can't wait to tell you all about the day as it continued after the signing!

More to come.....

Prep Work - Fairy Party

We are 1 week away from our daughter's 3rd birthday. She has chosen a Woodland Fairy Party.  I have been planning for about 3 months and it's all coming together!  Today was a lot of woodworking and making stands.

Oh How I pray the weather for next Saturday afternoon is as nice as it is right now!

Have a great Week everyone...

Smurf Party - Real but Fake

Smurf Party Today

My girls ALWAYS want to throw a party, like their momma 8)

Blue has never been a favorite color of mine, in clothes, jewelry, decor
and parties...however, I stepped out of my comfort box of what I love and created this
cute Real but Fake party for my girls today!

In a quick 20 minutes I was able to set up this fun Smurf Party, on our deck,
using their wooden Melissa & Doug food and some fun props.

Brownies and cupcakes were on the menu.
Using paper cups from Pick Your Plum.

The tissue paper flowers were left over from another party that I saved.

Ice cream cones that don't melt and make a mess!  8)

This was my inspiration!  I found these cute metal retro lunch boxes
at Old Navy last year and kept them  hidden until now!

Girls had fun playing party and feeding me everything!
Thanks goodness it's not real food!

Hope you have a celebration of a day!

Party On!
