Hi all - first order of business - I want to personally thank all those out there who were praying for our safety during Sandy. We were out of power for just about 6 days but survived fine. Much better position than so many others in our NYC area. 8( I ask that you continue to pray for all of those displaced from Sandy.
.....despite the power out (2nd Halloween in a row) we still had a school Halloween Party. With two other HomeSchooling families..this year I loved using the googly eyes and Washi Tape. So without further a dew....(keep in mind we had very little lighting, a generator for some lights and TV with DVD player and I used the grill to heat up food)
Welcome HomeGoulers
This was the trick or treat table - the TREATS Signs came down when it was time for them to Trick or Treat.
We all made food to share.
I taped some personalized bags to the backs of their chairs for trick or treating at the TREATS table later. (Balloons from Party on Designs, Trick or Treat picture from HERE!
Wouldnt be a party without some Pumpkin Macaroons! (Trader Joes!)
Lucky it was a semi-sunny day - this window gets some nice afternoon sun! Eye Ball Cupcakes
Fruit Push Up Pops
A game of Hullaballo and freeze dance kept them warm.
Thanks to my gal pal Kimberly and Beth along with their HomeGhoulers...helped make our
Halloween fun!
