Day 7 of the 12 days of Washi Crafting

Here we are Day 7 already - are you still with me?

I know these are not crafts that will win over Martha Stewart but they are fun and the kids can help you (which is important in our home).

Ok onto Day 7 of the 12 Days of Washi Crafting for the Holidays

 The Gift of Food

Spoon and Container are from Garnish

How can you take these fab soup containers (with lids no less) and a plain old wooden spoon and turn them into Christmas Fun?
With Washi!

Have a neighbor or know of a shut-in in your area?  We all make soup for the Winter Months - why not make a little more and surprise someone in need with a bowl of it! Or Chili, Or Mac and Cheese - whatever the flavor - you can step it up a knotch!

Using Washi to decorate it up and a little embelisment can go a long with when you are putting a smile on the face of someone in need.

How cute and fun is this!  I am going to use these at our Christmas Day brunch that we host with friends and neighbors

Inviting them to bring home some goodies or something for a late night Christmas Day snack!

Do you host Christmas or a holiday open house or dinner?  If so, what do you do to put your own touch on the event?

See you at Day 8!
