and a SUPER DUPER Giveaway
This
past weekend was our son’s 8th Birthday Party ! In the past we have hosted a HUGE Summer
party – See last year’s Beach Party HERE at Catch My Party…over 75 people..it
was crazy and my biggest party ever as far as details go!
However, our two little angels (daughters) caught on and realized they
did not get a huge party…SO we decided to scale WAY down and let him invite a
few friends over. Just because the head
count is less does not mean I did not put all my efforts into giving him the
Ultimate Nerf Party!

The few
Nerf Parties I have seen out there in blogland have been the current “Nerf” colors
of Orange
and Yellow
and Black. However, having a son who is almost 24 years old….I remember
when NERF was “old school” Colbalt Blue and Yellow and wanted to bring it
back! So my color scheme was Blue,
Yellow, Orange and White.
The original plan (Plan A) was to have it in the backyard. However, with thunderstorms in our area all day...I could not chance it. SO on Friday I decided to go with Plan B and have it indoors. I also had a Plan C and have some of the activities still outside if the weather permitted...it turned out great - both indoor and outdoors came to be!
I love how it turned out and all the mixing of the colors. Bright and Bold, just like our son!

Our son and his friends are not huge Bieber Fans....they LOVED the idea of using him as a target...LOL
On our upper deck - this did not look this nice after a thunderstorm rolled in...LOL..but cleared up
and we were able to use the deck for our dinner and sundaes.
Each Boy received a personalize Obstacle Course Pass and NERF Safety Glasses along with a goodie box...that had some other fun treats in them!
Outdoors
Using Pool Noodles from our local Dollar Tree - hubby made up a hurdle course for them...
Of course "The Bieb" followed the boys outside (side note: my girls colored him for me)
Then time to get their karate kicks in...
Time to put the Bieb to rest in the pool...lol

They went crazy for their own "french fry" containers...lol - it's the little things...
After dinner...time for some sweet treats...

I was happy that Zachary and his friends had a great time despite being inside for a lot of the party....
