Memorial Day Party - ideas for a great party on a tight budget

Last year we hosted a Memorial Day Party with some friends and their families.

Here are a few of the pictures....as I prepare for this years' party.
I am going with an Old Fashion Picnic Party Theme.

We had cut the guest list down a lot this year (so hard to invite everyone every time 8(  )

My ever changing, budget friendly, chalkboard frame!  I think I use this
is 80% of my parties!  I found a frame without the glass as Homegoods
a few years ago. Had the hubby cut some board to fit into the frame
used chalkboard paint and there you have it!

IKEA Double Sided Frames only $ .99 each
Best $ 1.00 spent!

Decided to be more "Earth friendly" this year at our parties
and we will be serving water out of large pitchers instead
of the plastic bottles.

Flowers can add a lot to your table decor and some you can find
right in your backyard this time of year!

Another great investment.  We have used this hotdog roller A LOT!
And love that it is self serve so my hubby and I can "host" the party
instead of standing at the grill.

Probably ONE of the MOST economical desserts.
S'more Pops.
EZ too!
Marshmallow into a stick
Melt your chocolate
and dip into crushed graham crackers.

That's it!
